Recycled phosphorus for efficient next-generation fertilisers
This projects links our UQ team with European collaborators who have generated novel phosphorus (P) minerals from wastes. The European Union is transitioning from P fertilisers that are mined from non-renewable resources to novel fertilisers from recycled nutrient-rich wastes. The student will grow soybean, ryegrass and/or spinach in the glasshouse to test how these crops access different P recyclates.
