Plant growth on a liquid fertiliser recovered from human urine
Researchers are the UQ Advanced Water Management Centre (Faculty of EAIT) have developed a technology for the recovery of nutrients from source-separated human urine as a pollutant-free and reusable liquid fertiliser. This project aims to test the effectiveness of such fertiliser for plant growth in a variety of soil types.
