The ecology and management of the European rabbit in the Lockyer Valley
This project aims to determine the ecology and management of the introduced European rabbit on agricultural and natural systems. You'll work alongside researchers studying the damage caused by rabbits to horticultural crops. You'll investigate the densities of rabbit populations in vegetable-growing areas and their damage. You'll use what you've learned to develop improved strategies for managing rabbits in these areas and mitigating damage to high-value cropping systems.
