Take an existing source code developed by Readify (Microsoft & Telstra partnership) for teaching UQ students how to manage water quality in a “virtual world” and improve the code to further enhance educational outcomes including collaboration and immersion. UNITY skills a desirable but not essential criteria as some training will be provided to start you off.

A second project to “grow” a crop in Augmented Reality using the Real time data from our Internet of Things (IoT) network and the Crop Model APSIM will also be happening at this time the student will be able to add value to this project working with our IoT team and the industry developers.
