Burning to Manage Feathertop Wiregrass in Mitchell Grass Pastures
The project examines the role of the soil seed bank and whether burning impacts on the number and viability of seeds of Mitchell grass (Aristida latifolia) and other perennial grass species in the Mitchell grasslands of the Barkly region, Northern Territory. The student will work alongside government and university researchers.
