Researcher biography

I am an Associate lecturer in Equine Science. My phD research investigated Vitamin K and Vitamin K-dependent protein (VKDP) functioning, and how these relate to bone health and development in horses. This research was centred on investigating the use of mass spectrometry and proteomic based techniques to analyse VKDP's, in particular that of osteocalcin in the horse. I have a strong interest in nutritonal related research and teaching in both the equine and animal sciences.
